SOLISHI Design/Lab is an Architectural Design firm that offers sustainable and innovative solutions for today’s built environment.
Founded in 2005 in Los Angeles, California, USA, by Junya Oishi and Dayhana Solís Carvajal, both of them graduates from SCI_Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture).
In 2007 the office moves to Costa Rica, where we actively pursue a diverse range of work, from Master Planning, Commercial, Residential and Interior Design projects.

SOLISHI Design/Lab focuses on the quality of human life and the relationship with the surrounding environment and it’s change. We aim to analyze and conceptualize our client’s ideal vision of the projects and harmonize and create the possibility of solutions, which gives balance to life existence. Co-existing with nature and adaptation to the environmental change is one of the focus points of design in our office. The mixture of different cultures (Ja-span-glish) in our office members allow us to see broader views, ideas and philosophies in our decisions and production. Harmony with both, nature and the future is the style that we would like to share with you.
